Chuuya is the pretty, soft-spoken scholarship student from France. Dazai is the jaded son of a tyrannical hospital owner. So, when Dazai finds himself drawing closer and closer to the mysterious new exchange student, he tells himself that he just wants to bully him. But he's also quite sure he's lying to himself. (Dazai is possessive with the new transfer student, Chuuya, because he had developed a crush when he saw him walking down the halls of Yokohama high school.)
