Takama has a rather strict outward appearance, especially regarding his brother Idate. He appears to be more warmhearted with his wife and daughter. Takama furthermore uses the personal pronoun "ore" when referring to himself. When Takama fights, he uses either a katana or his bare hands. He also prefers green tea, even the bitter ones. Takama enjoys Japanese-style food. Takama knows how much he can drink without feeling sick and is able to control the amount of alcohol he drinks.
