Spopovich is a muscular competitor in several World Martial Arts Tournaments, a long-time rival of Mr. Satan, and one of the two Earthlings ensnared by the wizard Babidi's mind control. Though originally a relatively weak human, he had his power increased beyond what is normally possible as a result of Babidi's magic. He used his newfound power to overwhelm Videl at the World Tournament. Spopovich must collect energy in order to release Majin Buu.
