Todoroki has a 'half cold - half hot' quirk. He can use fire on his left side and ice on his right. He has always hated his father and will never forgive him for what he did to him, his siblings and his mother when he was young. His mother, Rei, is now out of the mental hospital and has a better relationship with Shoto. He still goes to visit his family but tries to talk minimally to Endeavour or Enji Todoroki, his father. Endeavour is retired from being a pro hero and Deku is no 1 hero.
