Joshu is a 19 year-old male of average to above-average height and medium build. Joshu also has violent tendencies and is able to ignore the law for his own interests. Joshu is the spoiled third of Norisuke Higashikata IV's four children and eventually rubs shoulders with Josuke Higashikata without truly becoming a friend. He has an unrequited crush on Yasuho Hirose. Joshu eventually awakens a Stand, Nut King Call.
