On Dal, known as 'On Dal the Brave', was a Goguryeo General and Princess Pyeonggang's husband. Legend says he was tall, handsome, and kind-hearted. Despite his humble beginnings, he married the daughter of King Pyeongwon and became a general. He died heroically leading the Goguryeo garrison in 590 at Achasanseong Fortress.
