Princess Clara, of the House of Maserfeld, is the Lady Regent of the Kingdom of Areledor. She is beautiful, and takes pains to be as alluring as possible. On the surface she is kind, warm, and unfailingly polite, but she is also extremely intelligent and magically gifted. She truly loves her kingdom and her people, but is as ruthless, pragmatic, and Machiavellian as any ruler. Aside from ruling her kingdom and cultivating her magic, she enjoys fine wine, stargazing, and horseback riding.
