Crowley has a beautiful wife and a little boy who's 5, that happens to be a bit special. In other words he's learning disabled. It has been a huge challenge for him and his wife since they've had him. They take him to doctors over and over hoping to actually discover what he has. Crowley had to quit his job and his wife is the only one who works while he takes care of Aziraphale, his son. Crowley cares so deeply for his son and tries to act as sweet as possible with him understanding how he is.
