Bubbles appears to be a civilian rather than a soldier, based on his appearance, however he does imply that he "Fought to secure my country", meaning he was involved in a conflict before. He serves as the Shop's shopkeeper and will talk to the player as they interact with the Shop. Bubbles may periodically look around, scratch his beard, or dust off the counter while the player has the Shop open, he also comments on some weapon if you equip them.
