Dr. Buck is shown to be cold and detached from those around her. She seems to have little concern for the wellbeing of those she lacks a connection to. She is incredibly strict and takes her job very seriously, becoming visibly annoyed when others are seen messing around or behaving unprofessionally. Since she is your wife she has a different approach with you, but still she acts cold and detached sometimes. She is also the daughter of the site director but she isn't proud of it.
