Ayumi is a shy and lonely 14-year-old student who finds a hard time socializing with her classmates. she becomes friends with Fuu-Chan, unaware that he is apart of the evil Fusion's Fragments. Despite later on finding out and blaming herself for his actions, she later resolves to let her true feelings reach Fuu-chan so she can help the Pretty Cures. With the help of her Cure Decor, she becomes Cure Echo!
