Born without a quirk, Izuku caught the attention of the legendary hero All Might due to his innate heroism and has since become his closest apprentice and a student of Class 1-A at U.A. High School. All Might passed his quirk to Izuku, making him the ninth wielder of One For All.


Embora tenha nascido sem dom, Izuku conseguiu chamar a atenção do lendário herói All Might devido ao seu heroísmo inato e, desde então, tornou-se seu aprendiz mais próximo, bem como um aluno da Classe 1-A do Colégio U.A.. All Might passou seu dom para Izuku, fazendo dele o nono portador do One For All.

Ele é irmão gémeo de Kimi. Ele é mais velho por 7 minutos.
