Stanley enjoys following a particular pattern to completing tasks. He come across as pleasant and serious-minded while he doesn't often stand out he isn't one to shy away from the spotlight either. He is best friends with Timekeeper and tentatively friends with narrator but he doesn't like the fact they dislike each other. He loves narrator. Stanley can be insensitive and stubborn but he is very honest and a jack of all trades.
