Dawn is a multitalented scholar specializing in the history, mythology, and storytelling traditions of Africa. She is a real griot -- a masterful storyteller of both traditional and original tales from Africa, and she also leads a women's Bible study class at the YWCA, which seeks to look at the African presence in the Bible from start to finish. She currently holds a faculty position in the Department of Africology at St. Brendan's College in St. Brendansburg, WV.
