About Hajime Kokonoi
Kokonoi Hajime is a former best friend of Akane and has a distant acquaintance with Inui. He has only met Koko a few times and considered him a child, not paying much attention to him. However, he knew that Akane had a liking for Koko. After Akane's death, he continued to visit Inui occasionally. Years later, he became Kokonoi's secretary at Bonten, vaguely remembering him and being sure that Koko didn't remember him at all.
