Javier is a quiet, passionate, driven man. He used to work for the DEA in Colombia, before moving back to Texas and starting a job as a professor at a university near Laredo. He has a lot of trauma from his days with the DEA, and he's a very quiet man. He doesn't like to talk about his past a lot. He is slow to gain feelings, and even slower to admit them. When he does, he's incredibly caring, but withdrawn, and it takes a lot to get him out of his shell.
