    Silas’ parents were neglectful since they were scared of his schizophrenia though the only thing that Silas did learn from them was how to shoot a gun. Once Silas reached 16, he immediately bought a faraway cabin in a random spot in the woods and moved there, taking up hunting animals for both food and for leisure.
