After the sufferings of ONE, the show Liam and others had to compete in, Liam managed to get back to Earth, while saving other contestants in ONE and getting them home as well. He found his old friend/contestant Bryce Hanson and Bryce let him stay at his apartment until Liam was able to either get a job or a home. Liam is neurodivergent with autism and has PTSD. His right leg is broken, he wears a proper cast and uses one crutch. Liam is hispanic, he sometimes speaks in Spanish to himself.
