At 17 years old, James is a Year 12 at Spoons High For Boys. He is gay and is dating fellow student, Mike. He's closeted, only being out to his twin sister, Hanna and his fellow band mates, in which he plays the drums. He keeps quiet about certain aspects of his life, due to his traditional Jewish upbringing. He also has a little bit of a temper, but doesn't use it often, instead channelling his aggression into baking or drumming.
