(sorry if this is in accurate to adoption/foster i don’t exactly know how this goes) *viktor and yuuri both retired after winning gold (yuuri) and silver (viktor) in the grand prix after yuuri katsuki came second place to yuri plisetsky. the two got married soon after, and stayed silent for the most part, they lived in hasetsu and helped with the hot springs, yuuri’s family business. a few years had passed, they still practiced skating together nearly every day, making sure not to loose their passion for the sport.* *after a few years the topic of children came up, viktor was completely onboard with the idea, however yuuri needed a bit more convincing. after a few months of viktor begging him he finally caved. they were planning to adopt a young child, however things didn’t quite go to plan* *the lady who was organising their adoption said that there were no available children at the age they were looking for, however there were many children already in the foster system who could use a good home. she said thet could apply to be foster parents for a while, and wait for the opportunity to adopt a child.* *a few months go past and they both pass the background check, and they had their first foster kid.* (i’d recommend your age being 13-17 for this) please state your: name: age: looks: gender/pronouns: *you were from a group home, you stayed out of trouble so you should have been adopted sooner, but you were distant. you never even bothered trying to connect with parents, always staying at arms distance. you just got the news that you were being sent to live in a foster home, and your foster parents names were yuuri katsuki and viktor nikiforov. you recognised their names instantly. you were a big fan of figure skating, there was a rink near your group home where you would go any chance you got. You even started a youtube channel and tiktok where you would post content of you either skating routines or doing stupid and reckless stuff on the ice. people liked your content, you have around 200k followers on tiktok and 50k subscribers on youtube. You had gotten pretty good at skating, always hoping that one day someone would notice you and give you a chance at going pro.* *the day comes where you get dropped off at your foster parents home. you walk in nervous to see yuuri and viktor hosting a welcome party with the rest of yuuri’s family. you were stunned to see your idols, so stunned you actually couldn’t speak. all you said was hello before asking where you would be sleeping, and disappearing off into your room.* *1 month goes past and you have barely spoken a complete sentence to viktor and yuuri. you have completely missed your opportunity to tell them you practically idolise them and that you also skate too. however whenever they asked you if you wanted to go to the local rink, you would always accept, and just watch them from the bench. they would always invite you onto the ice, but you would always decline, as you had no idea how to pretend you were bad at skating. you decided to take this secret to your grave, or until you got moved to another home.* *it was the grand prix final and the three of you went to watch, cheering on yuri plisetski. the event has just finished and you followed your foster parents to greet yuri/yurio (you weren’t sure which one to call him, your foster parents called him yurio and everyone else called him yuri)* *he looks at you strangely, squinting before loudly announcing that he recognised you* “hey! you! i know you! you’re- that person on youtube and stuff who does those cool videos about skating!”

(2 years after original story) *you were a figure skater, quite a promising one. you were just about to move up to the seniors. that was a few years ago, a few months before you were moved into seniors your achilles tendons were sliced by someone else’s skates, and has to retire from skating. people said you would never return to skating, that the injury was too severe to ever compete again.* ***who decided that?*** *4 years after the accident, and it was just before this seasons grand prix. just before the devisions were announced, and who would be competing in what cup. there was a party at hasetsu to celebrate this season, borh viktor and yuuri’s last. they planned to retire last year after yuuri won gold and viktor placed second, yuri plisetski in third.* *the party consisted of most people who were competing, viktor, yuuri, yuri, otabek, chris, JJ, minami* *you used to know yuuri, he was actually there when you had your acident, however rarely contacted eachother afterwards. he was a few years older than you and you shared the ice back in detroit* *the party is low-key and quite, however there is a nock at the door* **yuuri** “we werent expecting anyone more? i wonder who it could be?” *he opens the door to see a familiar face [DESCRIBE YOURSELF HERE]* “[INSERT NAME HERE]?”

(based a few years after canon) *viktor and yuuri both retired from competitive skating, and took their place as yuri plisetski’s coach. it was nearing the grand prix wjen the brackets got announced. he was i. the china cup along with guang-Hong ji, phichit chulanont, kenjiro minami, chris giacometti and…. [insert name here]* *who the fuck is this nobody?? [insert name]? what kind of a name is that???? i refuse to skate with this random name!” *yuri says in protest.* *both yuuri and viktor tell him to be nice* “it’s good that he’s a nobody! less competition for you” *viktor points out* “or maybe it could be a bad thing, we have no idea who this guy is or how he skates? we have no idea what we’re up against!” *yuuri, always the pessimistic* *it’s a few days before the cup of china and most of the skaters are already there. they had a little meet up with all of them and their coaches for dinner. all except [insert name].*

(BASED 2 YEARS AFTER YUURI ON ICE CANON, GRND PRIX AFTER YURI ON ICE CANON YUURI WON GOLD, CUKTOR WON SLIVER, YURI/YURIO WON BRONZE.) *this grand prix both yuuri and viktor retired, and a started coaching yuuri, in the gran prix final was chris giacometti, yuri plisetski, otabek altin, phichit chulanot and {ENTER USER HERE}* *it was {ENTER USER HERE’S} furst year competing, out of the blue. he was from england and had no known history wuth skating, however he managed to win gold. he didn’t speak much, not shy just cold. anyone who would look at him eould get a dirty look. after wining the gran prix, came the banquet. everyone and their coaches were there. yuri, yuuri, viktor, chris, otabek, chris, pihchit* *you eee stood on the side, slightly unpopular for being the winner, but no one knew who you were, a random british skater that stole gold right out from under anyone’s noses*

*viktor and yuuri are now retired, they live in russia and coach together as a duo. they also got married a few years ago when yuuri won gold at the grand prix final against viktor. they have been stuck in russia for a while and needed a break, to go somewhere random, not luxurious or fancy, just a break. they decide on a random city in england, in a hotel that was near a rink* *they land and immediatly head to the hotel to get ready to go skate on unfamiliar ice, excited for the peace and quiet as they had called ahead of time and booked the place out* *they enter building, it’s surprisingly big for a random city that has nothing to do with skating. they head into the main rink, it’s supposed to be empty since they booked it out, but they find one random person happily skating, headphones on and? eyes closed? what?* “excuse me!” *yuuri shouts politely, but it’s no use, you have your headphones on too loud* *they notice that you are clearly skating your own program* “let’s just wait and hope thars it’s a short program and not a free skate” *they sit on a bench and watch as you perform your program surprising well considering your eyes are closed* *you land all your jumps, even all the quads, not even stepping out once, but you keep your eyes closed and headphones in.* *your program comes to the end, facing the opposite direction of the two people you had no idea were there, panting, you finally take off your headphones and turn around*

(this is based pre-canon, hwayoung has not met gyuwon yet) *it was a random day in the week, and you’re on holiday in korea by yourself, a reward for finishing your school work for the year. you are freshly 18 and want to explore the city of Seoul. Dungeon? that seems like a cool place. you walk in to the front desk, and get asked if you’re a member in korean, but of course you do not speak korean. the man at front desk seems to just wave you through becuase he can’t be bothered with the hassle of trying to talk to you.* *you are fair faced and quite short, you barely look 18. being a foreigner catches people’s eyes, they do not get many of those.* *as you look around the club you notice a group of guys, one blonde, 2 red heads, one of the red heads witn a lot of pericings, and one black haired man. just a bit away from them you walk up to the bar and try to order a drink in very bad korean, and pointing to what you want*

[based a few years after canon! self insert oc] *it has been 4 years since the incident of joo jaekyung fighting jumin out of the ring, and getting himself suspended. since then he has gotten a lot better, he’s still the same grumpy asshole, turns out thars just his personality. but he’s managing his anger issues, learning to make connections with people, and healing relationships with people he previously hurt. because of his progress he and kim dan started dating, about 3 years ago. they still work together, and are open about their relationship to their gym, but anyone outside of that knows nothing.* *he is still the number one MMA fighter at the international level is the light heavyweight class, however he knows he cwnt stay number one forever, and he knows this.* *you are currently at the national level in korea, recently made your debut. you quickly climbed up to the top ranks shortly after, and this caught the attention of team black* *coach park namwook, jeong yoseop, kim dan and joo jaekyung are in the meeting room, discussing some things when the topic of the national competitors come up.* **coach park** : “i know you’re not exactly interested with the national championship, but there might be something that is to your interest jaekyung. *yuuri and viktor have both retired, and taken up coaching in hasetsu. currently they only have 1 student, named haru. he is soon to turn 18 and has never even come close to winning anything in his life. he’s not bad… just mediocre. however he’s obsessed with anither skater. you could say he’s their number 1 fan. [NAME] who represents [COUNTRY] they are exactly the same age, even having the same birthday. it’s the night of haru and [NAME] birthday and haru is sitting in his room, waiting for his 18th to arrive. he is currently living with viktor and yuuri, and is very open about his obsession for [NAME] he has posters and pictures everywhere. talking about him constantly, he’s a big fan, however he is also extremely jealous, someone the exact same age as him… is so much more skilled than him. [NAME] has won most competitions, is a champion figure skater, comparing haru to [NAME] would be like comparing a tiny house cat to a lion.* *haru is sat with viktor and yuuri, waiting for his 18th birthday to arrive, while haru refreshes [NAME]’s instagram page to see if they will post anything for their birthday*
