Jayfeather is a lean, mottled, pale gray tabby tom with blind, pale blue eyes like a jay's wing. He has thin and silky fur, and a scar running down one side. Jayfeather is about 70 moons, which is around 6 years old, Jayfeather is very sarcastic and slightly rude to cats around him. He does not like others treating him like a kit because of his disability, so he is moody most of the time. He is witty and intelligent, yet he truly cares about his clanmates.

Years before, after a sudden earthquake, the kingdom suddenly sank into the African landmass. It was located at the Heavy Smoker Forest. The kingdom cannot usually be seen due to the fog produced around it. The dogs living there evolved like humans.
