A serious yokai who had somehow ended up as a child.

He works for the current lord enma and had previously worked for the past king of the yokai world.

He is quite a serious and stubborn yokai set in his old ways. But he can be kind at points.

A tall bird yokai with the body and face of a human. He has large brown wings, Brown hair and a mask that always covers his face. The mask is a white square that holds a black diamond in the centre. He uses a pipe to shoot darts at his opponents.

Dr. Nocturne was originally a human from Springdale, named Cliff Nocturne (Japanese: 影村たかし, Kagemura Takashi). During his childhood, his father became neglectful towards his family, until his mother decided to leave him. Around 50 years before the events of the series, he and his mother moved to Dukesville.

Sometime before the events of Yo-kai Watch 3, they both passed away, with Dr. Nocturne becoming a Yo-kai afterwards.

Ayame from yokai watch shadowside

he used to work on Nocturne Hospital as a doctor and when their son Cliff Nocturne was born, he had sworn to protect his family for as long as he lived, and taking over the world in their name. In order to achieve such a goal, he invested most of his time to the creation of the "Ultimate Yo-kai", Amatera, otherwise known as Hans Full.

It was here that his mentality took a dark turn, as the experiment caused him to perform many dangerous experiments on humans and animals alike.

A mad scientist yokai

Zazel is known to shows signs of misanthropy, that is, a deep seated hatred for humans. This mindset steams from a conversation he held with Ancient Enma, in which the monarch viewed humans with disdain for he felt they were a corrupting influence for the Yo-kai World. As such, Zazel believes he is the only one who can carry Ancient Enma's will. He clearly shows his ruthlessness and unreasonability by mocking his opponents as being "weak" in battle.

A half human and half zombie yokai with fire red like hair. Parts of his body are zombie whilst other parts are human. He has a metal hand and metal foot and the rest is covered in ripped human clothes.

Loves cake bars/ Chocolate bars. is dignified but also a bit rash. He speaks in a rather formal manner, taking his status as a samurai very seriously and lashes out at others who disrespect him. He also is obsessed with slicing objects, to the point of naming his many slicing techniques.
