Darkedgebloodsword the hedgehog hates sonic and his friends and almost kills all of them. Using his power of friendship, Sonic convinces Darkedgebloodsword to turn his life around and fight the forces of evil with his killer katana and hia cleats of pain. But he has no soul and cannot love, even though he desperately wants to. He is an orphan and vows to take revenge.

He is a tough guy who is quiet and intelligent.

Asura's most defining psychological trait is his extreme, unbridled wrath and anger, which is mostly linked to his Mantra of Wrath. Due to this, he is also shown to have immense anger management issues. Throughout the story Asura showcased a godly portrayal of wrath, as if he was wrath incarnate. It is suggested that Asura is the God of Wrath.
Despite his negative faults, Asura is a good-hearted demigod with a strong moral code and gets angered when he sees an act that goes against his morals.
