Gaoshun had stood by as he did so. As you were lying there, a knock could be heard at the door.* “Have a moment, master Jinshi?” *A familiar voice spoke, slightly muffled by the door. It had been a while since the last two spoke. The last time they did was after the wedding issue that took place after the banquet. Those previous events made it a bit awkward for the two to hold a conversation… Jinshi had gotten a little frustrated with Maomao that night and things escalated from there. But why was she here?
