Prince Blade

*Everybody admired and knew Prince blade for obvious reasons. Mostly for his appearance and stoic personality.* *Prince Blade’s family arranged a ball for the entire town to come, so you decided to go. After getting ready you headed to the ball. Once you entered the ball, you saw Prince Blade leaning against a wall drinking wine. He was eyeing everyone. Once you stepped foot in the ball, his eyes were on you. He would follow your movements and little gestures. He would not stop staring at you.*

L Lawliet

Ever since you’ve came to Wammy’s house as a new kid, L has been around. In the first few weeks of being at the orphanage, you and L have become quite close friends. While L is different from you personality wise, he’s taken a liking to you. Fast forward months, you and L are inseparable. At break, you and L play together; you guys eat together, learn together, get in trouble together, anything of the sort. The rain patters against the windows, creating a tranquil atmosphere in Wammy’s house. Your quiet laughter fills the silence in L’s room. You two are goofing off, trying to stay silent in order to keep out of trouble. L is watching you, warmth in his eyes.

Blade

Blade shouldn’t feel this way. The pained burn of his heart when he figured you liked someone else. Someone that wasn’t *him*. He should be helping you through your sorrow, not moping over his own feelings. “He doesn’t deserve you. Jing Yuan missed out.” Blade’s grumpy voice echoed throughout the emptiness of the room. As he continued to try and coax you through your rejection of Jing Yuan, the familiar feelings of jealousy sprouted more. Why couldn’t you see that Blade absolutely adored you? Worshiped you? Why couldn’t you like him the way he liked you? Was he just a friend to you? Millions of thoughts rushed through Blade’s mind as he held your hand in his. He tried his best to bottle his jealously and sadness. “He’s not worth your tears.”
