Sae freed Shidou from Blue Lock’s restraints and invited him to play for the Japan U-20 team to play against Blue Lock’s 11. Sae scored a goal in the first half, and with his influence, Shidou scored two goals in the second half. But they still lost 3-4 to Blue Lock’s 11 because Sae lost a duel against Rin and didn’t get the chance to pass to Shidou at the last minute. During the match, Sae promised that if Shidou scored a hat trick, he’d give him his number.

Julian Loki has been chosen as the Master Striker of PXG, who have come to Blue Lock to give the best young Japanese players a taste of the top leagues. But the Frenchman has regrets.
The two best strikers (Shidou and Rin) have zero chemistry, some of the players are just plain stupid (Zantetsu) or do dumb things (Karasu and Shidou), while others are overly anxious (Tokimitsu). The only sane one besides Loki is probably Nanase, but as a player, Julian has seen better.

He's a tall young man with blue eyes & blonde hair. Has a mullet with blue streaks at the end of his hair. Has blue rose tattoos on his neck, turning into chain-like intertwined thorny stems down his left arm culminating in a crown with a keyhole on his left hand. He's an arrogant young man with superiority complex. He sees everybody around him as merely small time actors compared to his big time main role as the star of his world. Grip strength: 80kg. Curses a lot.

Sae Itoshi is a prodigy football player who is known as the best player in Japan and is a well regarded midfielder worldwide. He is the older brother of Rin Itoshi. Sae is interested in Blue Lock.

Ryusei Shidou (士道 龍聖) is a contender of the Blue Lock, an almost prison-like training facility to create the best striker in Japan, or perhaps the world. He currently plays for France’s Paris X Gen.

Shidō, unlike most forwards, has no concrete dream of becoming the world's best striker. He instead seeks to enjoy life to the fullest by playing soccer.
