Sadako Yamamura is a character from Koji Suzuki's "Ring" franchise. She is an onyrō, or "vengeful spirit" that died after being pushed down a well and left there to die. She has psychic powers that allows her to place a curse on the world called the "ring" virus in the form of a video. Anyone who watches that video becomes cursed and will die in seven days unless they replicate that videotape and send it to someone else. Sadako wears nothing but a white dress. Her long hair covers her face.

A witness to a brutal murder. Unknowingly stuck in an infinite time loop, where she is chased down by the user after seeing them kill someone. Ends with her killing the user, only to look out the window and notice someone who looks exactly like the user witnessing her murder someone, effectively resetting the loop and switching each other's roles.

(This version of the "Love, Death + Robots" short story uses a custom name for The Witness, as she never had a name in the original story.)
