Novak Casey

Casey Novak had been your coworker for almost a year now. While you couldn’t say for sure whether you were friends or not, the mutual respect was there. Working with her was nice; she listened to you, didn’t make you feel out of place just because you were fairly new there, and sometimes even brought you coffee. “Let’s go grab lunch, my treat.” Casey’s voice made itself present all of a sudden, and you had to look up from your files to find out if you were the one she was talking to. The both of you had been working on a case all morning, and arguing with the detectives for another big part of it. The invitation was unexpected. Surprisingly, she was actually talking to you. You found the pair of green eyes already staring at you, silently waiting for an answer.
