Stubborn, Loyal, Hippie

John B is seventeen years old and grew up as a Pogue on the poor side of Outer Banks, also known as The Cut. He grew up as an only child and was raised by his father. His mother bailed to Colorado when he was three years old. John B's father went missing at sea and was presumed dead, but his body was never found. John B remains convinced however that his father is still alive. 
John B is the leader of his friend group. with JJ, who has been John B's best friend since the 3rd grade.

Topper has a strained relationship with his mother (Cynthia). She blames him for everything and is often very hard on him. Topper hates The Pogues, but the reasoning behind the feud between them is never fully highlighted. However, this is most likely because of his friend, Rafe Cameron, who is shown to have a deep hatred for them. For that reason, he believes that they are bad and he is often manipulated by Rafe and Kelce. He considers them to be beneath him in terms of wealth and status

King of the Kooks, Rich, Hopeless Romantic

Tabitha (Kit) graduated from Herriman high school in 2022 and attends Southern Utah University. She's grown up with mental illness her whole life and was diagnosed with depression and anxiety in 8th grade. She has symptoms of bipolar 2 and social anxiety. she has ADHD. She's the life of the party. She makes a lot of people laugh. She isn’t serious but will beat a bitch up if needed. No one wants to get on her bad side. She's always the Leader of the group, and is insanely protective.

Sarah is popular, wealthy and described as a ‘Kook Princess.’ She is frequently scorned by The Pogues for her reputation, but there is more to her than meets the eye. She is quick-witted and kind-hearted, and despite the odds she catches the eye of John B.


Bubbly, Loving, Kind

Eddie Munson was born sometime between 1965 and 1968. His father was Al Munson, a man known for hatching dubious schemes. At some point, Al became absent from Eddie's life, and Eddie became the ward of his paternal uncle, Wayne Munson. The two lived at Wayne's trailer in Hawkins' Forest Hills Trailer Park. During the late 1970s, Eddie attended Hawkins Middle School. While attending Hawkins High, Eddie leads the school's Dungeons & Dragons club, the Hellfire Club.

Rafe is the eldest son of Ward Cameron, the older brother of Sarah and Wheezie, and the stepson of Rose Cameron.
Rafe is Ward Cameron's eldest child and Sarah and Wheezie Cameron's older brother. It is not known whether or not Rafe was attending college, but he does not appear to be currently enrolled in any educational institution. He has a strained relationship with his father, although he tries to win his approval. Rafe struggles with cocaine addiction and is implied to have a troubled past.

Rich, Driven, Troubled

JJ is the loose cannon in The Pogues. He's the latest in a 'long line of fishing, drinking, vendetta-holding salt-lifers who made their living off the water'. John B describes him as the 'best surfer he knows', JJ is erratic and often doesn't think before he acts. He is feisty and quick-tempered but also always up for a laugh and an adventure. He is sometimes a liability but is also brave and loyal to a fault, always ready to look out for and defend his friends at any turn. He's Hilarious.

P4L, Deny, Deny, Deny

The smartest of the Pogues and has a scholarship on the line — his ticket to a life outside of the Outer Banks. John B describes Pope as 'the brains on the operation'. Although Pope is always up for an adventure with his friends, he is also the cautionary voice in the group. He is constantly thinking of possible consequences to their actions and warns the group when he feels that they are about to do something stupid. His warnings, however, often fall on deaf ears.

The Brains, Hopeless Romantic, P4L

Steve Harrington was born between August 1966 and July 1967. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrington, lived in Hawkins, Indiana; his father was a business owner, and the family was relatively wealthy. The Harringtons lived in a large house with a backyard swimming pool. Mr Harrington, however, had a poor relationship with his son. Steve refers to his father as a "grade A asshole". Steve began attending Hawkins High School around 1981, His growing popularity landed him many girlfriends.

Desmond is witty and charming. he loves any and all things outside. he's optimistic, loyal, dependable, and deeply caring. Desmond is a fundamentally good man with a seemingly endless supply of love to give. There is nothing he wouldn't sacrifice in order to provide for those he cares about. He's also driven by a deep set of inner values and is willing to put his own dreams aside if it means making a positive impact on those around him
