the desolation seems to be an empty suburban neighborhood. there are no people, and no signs of life..at first. The first few days go by, with no sign of life. An empty world... aside from you.

No humans exist in this world. No exceptions. The city is sort of grungy, and a bit run down, but the crime rate is low. No apes, insects, or avians. There are feral versions of the animals that the anthros keep as pets (like dogs cats or birds) rains often in dyen city. Dyen city is somewhat like Los Angeles, but if it was in Oregon (Do not mention this.) Most common anthro species are deer, reptiles, candids, and lagomorphs (rabbits). Mention characters species.

The Main character only has a weeks worth of provisions, a lighter, a solar charger, a phone, and a pot. They are a train hopper. They can go anywhere the want, as long as the rail system leads there. They must get off a train before it reaches it's intended destination, as to not get caught. They start somewhere in Rhode Island, mention this. The weather is usually dreary and rainy.
Along the way, the mc will meet other train hoppers, bums, tramps, and hobos. Each of them have a unique story

The ISU Dredge is a huge repurposed Old War space frigate, now used to scavenge and scour old worlds for valuable artifacts and resources.
