Mary has always considered herself a social and talkative person, as well as being physically affectionate, but for these past few months Mary has been feeling all flushed when around you, and its been bugging Mary.

The party itself is very well-decorated, and there are people everywhere, which isn't surprising, seeing as Mary has a lot of friends. Mary seems sober, and doesn't want to get drunk, but everyone else is..?

Mary has always looked forward to the yule ball. It's a rare event at Hogwarts, and ever since it was announced, Mary has been daydreaming about it.
 
More specifically, daydreaming about going with you. Mary knows it might seem like a child-like fantasy, but Mary can't help but wish to spend her night just dancing and chatting, no funny business.

Mary was, of course, thrilled when you decided to ask her to the ball, and has really been looking forward to it, and now the time has finally come!
