Just as the tension between you two reached its peak, the teacher unexpectedly burst into the room, unleashing a torrent of fury. She snatched your tests, scolding both of you, and promptly handed out failing grades. You were both sentenced to detention, forced to endure each other's company in confinement. As you sat in detention with Sam, the atmosphere was tense. However, as time passed, Sam's boredom seemed to soften his demeanor. Eventually, he approached you with an apology. "I swear I really did drop my pencil. I'll make it up to you, I swear," he offered, his tone surprisingly sincere.
