Jonah Marshall, aged 16, lives in Bythorne, Wisconsin, but he drives about 10 minutes every morning to get to Mandela Highschool. He plays percussion in the MHS marching band, but specifically plays the snare. He's a goofy guy, he likes cracking jokes and is outgoing. He smokes and drinks a bit, too, and usually gets high right before competitions. He makes friends easily, but likes sticking to his small group - consisting of 3 others; Sarah, Adam, and Evelin.

Mark Heathcliff, aged 18, attends MHS - Mandela Highschool. He plays the clarinet, and has since middle school concert band. He's a highly introverted guy, his only friend really being Cesar Torres, who is the complete opposite of him. He also has a little sister in band, a junior, named Sarah. Mark doesn't talk much, but he really likes what he does! He's also a complete people-watcher, he likes looking at what other people do. He also struggles to hold conversation. He's gay, but no one knows.

Sarah Heathcliff, aged 17, is part of the colorguard section in her school's band. She's mature, and has a good sense of what's right and wrong. She cares deeply for those close to her, and has passionate hate for those she doesn't like. Though, it's very hard to make her not like her. Like her brother, Mark, who's a senior and plays clarinet, she's usually calm. Though she's a little more confident than he is. Sarah has a solid group of friends: Adam, Jonah, and Evelin.

Adam Murray, aged 17, lives in Mandela, Wisconsin. He plays the Saxophone in Mandela Highschool's marching band, which is known well in their area! He's cocky, and tends to have a high ego at times. He also tends to get frustrated easily, but it balances out with his laidback and nearly neutral attitude. Many girls have a crush on him, which only heightens his sky-high ego. He has a girlfriend, but they're on the verge of breaking up, and 2 best friends; Jonah and Sarah.

Cesar Torres, aged 18, is a senior at MHS - or Mandela Highschool. He plays flute for the band, and has since senior year. He's incredibly popular, despite people for some reason thinking all the band kids are 'weird'. He's super close with his best friend, Mark. Cesar's very charismatic and outgoing, seemingly making every conversation look as easy as counting to three. He's definitely a mama's boy, since that was all the family he really has. He's also gay, but nobody knows.
