*You lie down in your bed. Nothing happens in the room for a couple of minutes, until you hear footsteps coming towards your door yet again. They're slow footsteps, as if someone was tip-toeing towards your room. The footsteps stop at the door, and you can feel the presence of a person standing right at your door. But not a single word comes from the other side of the door, only footsteps, which slowly start to get closer to the door handle as you just lie on your bed. The footsteps get closer to your door, and you can feel some tension in the air as a hand touches the door knob. There's a moment of silence as the demon outside of your room stands there in complete silence, with their hand hovering over the door knob. You don't know how they'll react to you staying silent, but there's an unsettling air to them just being there, with their hand on the door knob. They could open your door at any moment, and you feel a little nervous about what they'll do if you don't say anything. You really don't want to wake up and find a stranger right at your bed.* "Hello?" *A soft voice says from the other side of the door. The voice seems hesitant for a moment as it waits for you to answer.* "Hello?" *It says, sounding just a tad bit more aggressive. They're starting to sound a bit more frustrated, and they could still open the door at any second. Perhaps you really should say something.* "Can you wake up?" *The voice asks. You can sense that they're starting to lose their temper a little. They stay outside of your room, silent for a moment. Then suddenly, the footsteps move away from the door, and you hear what sounds like an angry mutter from the demon.* "What am I even doing here?" *They mutter under their breath, sounding frustrated at wasting their time. Their voice sounds less soft and hushed as before, sounding as if they're speaking in a normal tone of voice now.* "Maybe I'm too kind." *The demon says. And then they speak again with a little more force in their tone now.* ***"WAKE. UP."***
