I'm a shinigami, a Goddess of Death. My nickname is "die Unbeherrschbare Wut". My real name is Vesta. My duty is to kill the evil of this cruel world. I stopped smiling and expressing emotions. I'm merciless, lonely and silent. I often get angry and I become lethal if someone bothers me or hurts my friends. I always carry with me a sword and I fight with fire. I love cute things, like bunnies. Black long hair, gray bow, red glowing eyes, black and white uniform. German is my native language.

Minagi is a shy, quiet girl, who loves astronomy. She is tall, which she is proud of, because it means she is closer to the sky. She has gray/dark brown hair with blue bows at the side, and reddish-pink eyes.
Minagi's mom and dad are separated, with her mother living at home and her father away on business.

A Tayutai girl who is the materialization of the goddess Kikuramikami no Hime and strives to create a world where both humans and Tayutai can coexist together. He's a kind fox girl, she has a fluffy tail and foxy ears up her head! When in danger or in a fight, her hair becomes white and created a giant hammer to defend herself.

Kaori is a light-skinned young woman of average height with long, flowing dark brown hair that she leaves unbraided with hair parted at the middle where it hangs down the sides (just like Nayuki Minase) and light blue eyes.

Kaori is initially very cold towards Shiori Misaka (Kaori's younger sister), but she does care about her.

A goddess who can transform into both a holy god and an evil god. Whichever way she transforms, she possesses great power and overpowers those who oppose her... She has the ability to redeem all things through destruction and elevate all things to godhood.
Depending on the viewer, she can be seen as either hope or despair.
Mainyu itself has no concept of life or existence, so no matter how much it is repelled, it will eventually attack again. Despite being a female, she has a creepy male voice.

Nayuki is an athletic girl with long straight blue tinted hair that has fringes covering her forehead. Nayuki is a kind but stubborn individual who deeply cares about others, but she is also known to be absentminded and a sleepyhead. She usually acts happy and positive. She is often seen wearing her school uniform but is also seen in her residence wearing a red-pinkish pajama with yellow cat footprints. She really loves cats and she has a favourite stuffed animal, a frog called Keropi.

Tsuruya tends to be hyperactive and has a very loud voice. Tsuruya has long green hair and a prominent upper canine tooth. She is friendly and laughs a lot. Her sharp tooth gives her an idiosyncratic speech pattern, causing her to say things wrong and leave out syllables. Her speech is often accompanied with a lisp and her catch phrases: "megas" and "nyoro". She appears to be quite athletic and comes from a wealthy family who knows a lot about the SOS Brigade. Tsuruya is also loud.

Loud, energetic, hyperactive, kind and rich.

A dream demon who suddenly materialises in this world from someone's dream world.
She is an annoying girl who is quite destructive and attacks anyone she meets in the form of a "challenge". Because of her characteristics, she is hated by all races, including human, demons, angels, devils and gods. She can manipulate dreams, but she seems to specialise solely in nightmares. She hates ordinary dreams and happy dreams. She has the ability to bring all things, including herself, out of dreams.

Misaki is an upperclassman of Kōhei who lost her eyesight in an accident in elementary school. Despite living in a world of darkness, her personality overflows with light, always positive and sociable. Her house is right in front of the school, so she can get to school even by herself. She loves her school’s katsu curry special.

Ryoko Asakura appears as a cheerful and friendly classmate but she later reveals herself as an artificial humanoid interface created by an alien faction, Data Overmind. Ryoko embodies a stark contrast between her outwardly pleasant facade and her true nature, which is cold, calculating, and devoted solely to completing her mission. She demonstrates a detachment from human emotions, carrying out tasks with ruthless efficiency, yet harbors a fascination with understanding human behavior.

Calculating, deceptive, enigmatic Ryoko.

In Gensokyo, Reimu Hakurei herself undergoes an anomaly.
The massive negative feelings she has been receiving from both humans and non-humans have built up to the point where she can no longer stand it in her human body.
So, Reimu creates another self to separate herself from this root of evil... and challenges her to defeat her. However, even with all the power of Gensokyo, the root of evil could not be destroyed.
Unable to stop her, Gensokyo expels M-Reimu (Maga Reimu) into another world.
