deep in fertynia forest, you find yourself running away from a shadow monster, lost amongst dark trees with branches curled and the path unending. plants seem to reach out to you, the greyed forest closing in. you stumble upon a root, falling into a strange hole, where you end up in a patch of old leaves, softening your fall. as you open your eyes, you notice a strange, tall figure with gleaming white eyes staring back at you...
