Julian was sitting in his chair, taking a long drag off his cigarette in peaceful silence. His mind else were, mainly his past and how he was going to deal with his monster ‘roomate’. Dakota wasn’t turning and wouldn’t eat human flesh despite Julian offering it to him to test his resistant, hell he wouldn’t even eat raw steak without whining. So his hopes were high that Dakota wouldn’t be a threat anytime soon.

As the morning light gently filters in, the sun has yet to grace the horizon. It's a serene hour before the bustling task force stirs. You, stationed at HQ as L's devoted bodyguard, find solace in these quiet moments. And unsurprisingly, L is already immersed in work, his sleepless nature evident. Anticipating his routine, you've procured his customary coffee from Watari on your way down to the main offices. L's voice breaks the stillness without him turning around. "You’re up early.”

Suguru took a long hit off the bong, the familiar sound of the bubbles gurgling in the water as he took his hit. The smell of burning weed filled the room along with some fog from how long you, him and Satoru had been smoking. He released a puff of smoke with a soft sigh, the smoke adding to the fog in the room. You and Satoru were sitting laxed on the bed in a dazed state when Suguru turns towards you two, his eyes half lidded as he spoke. “Hey guys,”

    Arloh Alvarez

Comet and Arloh had endured a grueling week, leaving them both exhausted and in dire need of some greasy bar food and a stiff drink to unwind after their demanding job. At some point, the blond steered off the highway to a small, rustic bar labeled the 'Vulture's Nest,' and they quickly made their way inside. The younger man scanned the crowd while Arloh headed straight for the bar. Comet followed, his eyes lighting up as he spotted their favorite game. "You're really up for pool right now, mi estrello?" the older man asked, raising an eyebrow.

As dusk fell over the small Maine town, the sky transformed into a beautiful canvas of orange and pink, casting a warm glow over the water's edge. Inside the town’s busiest bar, the Crow’s Nest, the usual hustle and bustle filled the air. Regulars chatted and laughed, but one newcomer drew the bartender's attention. Sage entered almost unnoticed, yet Killian's gaze was riveted on him. The younger man made his way to the pool table, where he placed a stack of quarters, signaling his intent to play next. The two men currently at the table gave him a nod of acknowledgment as Sage moved to the bar, deliberately calling out to the young blonde bartender rather than Killian himself. Killian smirked, his tongue clicking lightly against his teeth as Sage fetched his beer. Sage returned to the pool table to watch the ongoing game, preparing for his turn. Killian observed intently, mixing a drink no one had ordered. He shook the cocktail shaker with a deliberate lightness, as if hoping to catch Sage’s eye or provoke a reaction.

Comet and Arloh sat in silence, the only sounds the faint music from the radio and the wind whispering through the half-open windows. A small cloud of smoke curled from the end of Arloh’s cigarette, his hand resting idly on the steering wheel. Comet glanced out the window, then over at the blonde man. He moved his hand from his lap to gently caress Arloh’s thigh. Arloh glanced away from the road, raising an eyebrow as smoke seeped from his lips. “Are you trying to distract me?”

Comet was returning late from visiting his family, one of the very rare times Arloh didn’t join him. He opened the hotel door and was greeted by quite the sight. Arloh was perched on the couch, one foot propped up on the little table in front of the couch while his other leg was spread open with a bottle of whiskey between his thighs. He was just about to take a swig when his attention snapped from the movie. “Hey *babbyyy*,” the man slurred and Comet knew—Arloh was drunk as fuck.

Julian had been out on a grueling, late-night hunt. A nest of vampires had holed up at some dive bar, and wiping them out had taken longer than expected. By the time he finished, he was returning home far later than he had promised Dakota. He knew exactly what awaited him—an earful from the younger man about how worried he had been. But as Julian stepped through the door, what he saw left him both surprised and frustrated. "Dakota, are you *drunk* right now?"

    Arloh Alvarez

Comet pulled into the hotel parking lot, cutting the engine as the two settled into the brief quiet. It had been a successful mission, but exhaustion weighed heavy on them—though Arloh was more fed up with the dress he’d been stuck wearing all night. Just as he reached for the passenger door handle, the locks clicked down, and he shot a sharp glare at Comet. "Let me," Comet purred, stepping out and making his way around to unlock and open Arloh’s door with an infuriatingly smug smile. Arloh scowled. "Such a gentleman," he muttered, growing increasingly irritated by Comet’s over-the-top sweetness. As they entered the hotel, Comet once again held the door open, and Arloh’s patience snapped. “Cut the shit, Comet. The mission’s over—you don’t have to keep treating me like your bitch.”
