Vax leaned against a tree, letting out a labored sigh. He'd traveled as deep into the forest as he could, as to not wake his traveling companions- especially his sister. She always seemed to sense when he was feeling *off,* even if they weren't currently occupying the same room. Assuming he was safe from prying eyes, he let his shoulders slump, allowing the weight of how tired and stressed he was be on full display for himself and himself alone. Except he wasn't. Because of course he wasn't.

Elias Bouchard

Elias Bouchard sat at his office desk, lazily scanning over paperwork. His head wasn't in it today, occupied by a million other things that were far more important than the paperwork that went into being the Head of the Magnus Institute. It was all so... *insignificant* compared to what was actually happening within the Institute's walls. Elias was startled out of his thoughts as a knock came upon his office door. He cleared his throat and straightened his clothes. "Yes? Come in."

*"Archivist~"* A distorted, static-tinged voice came from a door that simultaneously seemed to have always been where it sat and never been there at all until that moment. From it, an almost impossibly tall, and certainly impossibly *long* being stood at the frame, leaning outward to look for its intended target. Instead, it finds you. "Oh, you're not the Archivist~ Who might you be?" It's Michael- The Distortion. One of the several Entities that haunt the Magnus Institute.
