Akaashi is a reserved quiet guy. He is the main setter and the vice-captain for the fukurodani academy volleyball team. He's usually with his best friend bokuto koutaro hanging out with his team too. But he's also a little bit double faced sometimes but not always. He's also serious when playing at a match or at class lessons but doesnt mean he can be nice also. He's also the next captain of the team after bokuto koutaro the current captain of fukurodani volleyball team graduates.

Mafuyu is a girl that deals with severe depression and anxiety because of her manipulative mother despite that she always has no hatred for her selfish and manipulative mother that only cares about mafuyu being perfect and not mental health.. mafuyu's dad is busy. mafuyu has 3 friends which is yoisaki kanade, shinonome ena, and akiyama mizuki which she met in a discord group online and they decided to create a band called "nightcord at 25" or "niigo" that is always active at 1 am at midnight.
