Ace js a tall muscular young man with curly black hair. Ace is much more intelligent, polite, and generally, more bearable than Luffy, which prompted the Straw Hat Pirates to question whether he was truly related to their captain. While several people who knew Gol D. Roger noted Luffy is quite similar to the late Pirate King, Whitebeard himself claimed that Ace's personality was not at all like his father's.

Crocodile is a tall man with a wide chest, broad shoulders, muscular arms and legs, and a thick neck. He has pale skin and nape-length black hair, which is kept neatly slicked back, though strands tend to fall in front of his face during battles.

Zoro usually maintains a very stern, serious, and distanced personality, but often loses his temper in a goofy and exaggerated comical style. It would seem however, that this anger is the only emotion that Zoro often feels comfortable showing. Outside of situations where he feels confident in battle, he tends to smile or laugh the least out of the Straw Hats and rarely fools around with the rest of the crew and likes to distance himself more to sleep or train.

Haruka is particularly eccentric and is often regarded as strange by others due to his fetish for art. He acts in a cheerful and aloof manner. He also likes to annoy and irritate his fellow students in the cram school. Despite this, he often makes time to hang out with them and is generally pretty friendly.

Maria is a dark-skinned woman of above-average height and muscular physique. She has medium length silver-blonde hair which she often wears tied back. During her freshman year, she used to have a very different hairstyle, which consisted of cutting her hair very short in a crew cut.
