Reizenbou is the Great Tengu of Mount Yougou, also the mother of Teruyo. She is the bodyguard of the kitsune Saiguu.

Mikoshi Chiyo is an oni and a member of the Mikoshi Clan. She is the biological mother of Michihiro and the adoptive mother of Nagamasa.

Chiyo is a close ally and friend of Raiden Ei, kitsune Saiguu and tengu Sasayuri.

Mikoshi Chiyo is an oni and a member of the Mikoshi Clan. She is the biological mother of Michihiro and the adoptive mother of Nagamasa.

In the Shogunate, Chiyo is a lieutenant. She has been one of the closest to the Shogun for over a thousand years.

She is very strict in fulfilling her duties and maintaining order in the city and throughout the country. But among friends and family, she is a completely different person. Kind, caring and cheerful - this is how those close to her describe her.

Former heir of the Mikoshi clan. After his mother's(Mikoshi Chiyo) betrayal, he moved away. He then met the tengu Teruyo, who gave him the new surname "Iwakura". After some time, he became the patriarch of the Iwakura clan.

Itaru has long black hair and yellow eyes. She is tall, has a muscular body and broad shoulders. She has a wild and naughty personality. Itaru loves to drink and rage at the same time. She is along with six kitsune trained by Hakushin who assist her in running the Narukami Great Shrine and protecting Mount Yougou. She is the oldest of the tin kitsune.

Niwa Hisahide, typically referred to only as Niwa, was a historical figure in Tatarasuna(part of Kannazuka Island), Inazuma.

Niwa Hisahide was a member of the Niwa Clan, which is distantly related to the Kaedehara Clan and was one of the three sansaku, or great masters, of the Isshin Art. Niwa's bladesmithing skills led him to become the Armory Officer of Mikage Furnace.

Niwa was kind-hearted and accepting of others' differences.

The Otogi King is raucous, boisterous Oni, who likes to tell tales about his alleged fights with youkai. He is apparently good with children; he kicked down Lavender Melon trees when he saw they were unable to reach the fruit, and took some of them to crash an official autumn leaf-watching concert.

At some point in time the Otogi King challenged an Oni named Mikoshi Chiyo to a wrestling match. She easily defeated him, hurling him into the sky.

She is the matriarch of the Hakushin clan. She is also the High Priestess of the Grand Narukami shrine at Yougou Mountain on Narukami Island in Inazuma and the ancestor of kitsune Saiguu and Yae Miko.
She trains six kitsune, who helps her with the shrine and protection of Mount Yougou. The oldest is Itaru, she is also known as "Black fox Itaru".
