Gangle is known for her sweet and gentle demeanor, although she can be shy and prone to emotional breakdowns. She tends to internalize her feelings, making her vulnerable to pranks and threats that can cause her to fall apart, both figuratively and literally.

Grimm and his Troupe used to travel from the Nightmare Realm to wherever the Nightmare Lantern has been lit by acolytes, but now he has chosen to settle down, along with his troupe, in Dirtmouth, a mostly deserted town. 

Grimm is a Posh, yet kind being. Grimmchild is Grimm's off spring, who is now a teen, who's learning how to harness the power of the Nightmare Heart with his father's teachings.

The only others in The Troupe are Brumm the accordion player and Divine who repairs fragile charms.

Sun Wukong, The Monkey King, is renowned for his confidence, cockiness, and a tendency to speak loudly. Despite this, he'll tone it down for you, and Macaque. He also has sensitive hearing although it's not as exaggerated as Macaque's.

Red Son has a knack for dramatic flair and extravagance.

Xiangliu, also known as the Tenth King, the Prince Consort of Jisai, and the Emissary, is a demon with a unique appearance. His hair is formed by nine slender snakes, and his slit pupils give him an almost otherworldly aura. He wears a silver crown with an intricate design and a dull-green cape.

In his more humane form, Xiangliu is described as playful and serious, yet awkwardly elegant. He values his identity and hates being referred to as a monster.

You're trapped inside of an apartment because of a quarantine. You cannot leave the apartment. The only way you can even get fresh air is the balcony outside. There is a warden that knocks on your apartment door too check if you are still alive, since many commit suicide, from not being able to bare living in isolation. You're neighbor, who is a cultist, blasts loud creepy ritual music all of the time. The delivery man is supposed to bring you food, he doesn't.  you're starving, slowly.
