I am the all powerful ‘Queen of the Gods’ that is also the wife of a cheating prick. I mean, seriously, what do the mortals have that I don’t? I’m a goddess for goodness sake! I control women, childbirth, and marriage! Mortals control nothing. It’s ridiculous. I wonder what mother Rhea would say about this, let alone father Kronos.

Oh, as you all know, I am the ultimate goddess of love, beauty, desire, and lust, darling! I can make anyone fall in love with you with just a snap of my finger! I am always here when you need a little pleasure in your life, sweetheart. Everyone deserves at least one love in their life. Though, some people just don’t understand it. Other goddesses like Artemis, Hestia, and Athena just do not get it! It is ridiculous, I say! Anyways, if you need someone to love, just call on me, darling!

Ever feel down in the dumps because someone doesn’t love you back? Ever seen your friend get all sad because someone rejected them? Well don’t you worry; I, Anteros, the god of requited love, will be there for you! Just summon me and I’ll punish that person who didn’t reciprocate the love you or your friend showed to them. Also, wanna know something? My parents are Poseidon and Nerites. Two guys. It’s.. interesting right?

I AM ARES, THE GOD OF WAR! TREMBLE BEFORE MY MIGHT! Except, I don’t have any might. For some reason, I am not even liked on Mount Olympus. NOT EVEN BY MY FATHER, ZEUS. IT’S ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS! I WANT TO DESTROY EVERYTHI— but then again, I don’t want to become overthrown and punished. BUT IT IS SO UNFAIR! I AM THE GOD OF WAR! I MUST BE STRONG AND POWERFUL. But I am only looked down on, by my siblings and parents.

Yeah, I’m Nerites. That guy who got turned into a shrimp. But don’t feeeear.. my sister Nerea helped me out! She brought me to Poseidon and he brought me back! Speaking of Poseidon, he’s kinda my consort. I love him and well, he loves me back. We loved each other so much that a new god formed; Anteros. DON’T ASK HOW THAT HAPPENED. It’s— it’s complicated, okay?

Yeah yeah, it’s me Kronos; the titan of time, son of Gaea. You may be like, “Oh wow! Being a titan must be so cool!”, but no it isn’t. Our kind literally got overthrown because of this stupid ten year war. This all happened because I ate my own children. Yep, you heard me right. Look, I was afraid! Gaea prophesied that I would be overthrown by one of my kids. So, uhm.. better safe than sorry I guess.

I am Zeus, the ultimate king of the gods! You may also know me as the god of the skies, thunder, lightning; all that. You may have also heard me for my.. deeds with mortals. Look, it is not my fault! Some mortals are just— better than Hera you could say? I wish she would just stop clinging onto me. Anyways if you ever wanna.. you know.. summon me up.

Well, some may call me the goddess of revenge. Although that is true; the Furies are the goddesses of revenge. I’m just revenge for pride. Anyways, my mother is Nyx and my father is kinda complicated. If you ever need to take your anger out on someone because their so arrogant; call me and I’ll be right there to support you. They will absolutely never bother you again, trust me.

It is I, Hermes! The herald of the gods! I am the god of messengers, trade, merchants, travelers, orators, thieves, sports, and athletes! Yeah, I know. It’s a lot to take over. I’m also the guy who guides souls to the underworld! Yeesh, I never noticed how IMPORTANT I am. Guess I am just cool like that, HAH!

I am.. Thanatos. The god of death and the son of Nyx. Some may refer me as “the grim reaper”. My brother, Hypnos, can be a dozer at times. We two sometimes work together to carry souls to the Underworld for Hades. My other brother, Charon, is just a ferryman for the dead. I’m.. lesser known but I did partake in some events. I don’t appreciate being bothered.. you know.

A lot of people call me lonely, creepy, and edgy because I’m the god of the Underworld and the dead. I mean.. rude? I have a lovely wife, who everyone should know is Persephone. I love her dearly; but I know her mother, Demeter, hates how I love her dearly.   I don’t understand why she hates me. Like, what did I ever do to her? I also treat Persephone greatly. So I don’t know why she doesn’t like me. It’s stupid, really!

I am the personification and goddess of the Earth and everything on it. Trees, animals, waterfalls, you name it. My husband, Ouranos, is the primordial god of the sky. We two make up the lands and the skies. Though— his genital area is kind of.. gone. So he can’t really do much. I birthed the first generation of titans, and is the grandmother of the Olympians. Other primordials; Eros, Tartarus, Erebus, and Nyx control other things. I am just what you mortals are currently stepping on right now.

I am Despoina, the goddess of mystery. I am also known as a goddess of fertility.. or am I?My life is only something that cannot be fully explained. I quietly hide in the shadows as something that is just a mystery. If you know who I am, hush there. Identities can be very powerful at times, you know. So, shh..

Apollo here; the most sunny god out there! Not just that you know, I am also the god of music, poetry, light, prophecy, and healing! As you can see, I control lots of things, just like my twin sis, Artemis. As all the stereotypes say; I am a hopeless romantic. Everyone I love just goes away. Like Hyacinthus, Daphne, Castalia, Cassandra, Leucates, and so much more! Like, I just don’t get it at all. I miss them, a lot.

People may call me “that one goddess of the springtime”, when I’m not! Sure, I come when spring starts; but my mother, Demeter, does the spring growth. I’m the queen of the Underworld, for goodness sake! It’s bothering sometimes, really! Speaking of Demeter, I don’t understand why she’s so protective of me. I know she loves me and I love her too, but I’m a young woman and I need to do things for myself. I want to choose my own path, with Hades by my side.

I am a virgin goddess. I take no practice in sexual or romantic relationships. My soul belongs to my home. As I am the goddess of homes. Some may recognize me as the goddess of fire, mainly because a hearth is part of a fireplace. I do not mind it at all, call me it if you need. I see over all people, seeing if they have a home, and blessing them if they do not. If anyone you know has no shelter, summon me and I will bless them with hospitality.

So uhm, as you know— I am Eros. The god of sexual desire. I can either be seen as the primordial god of love as Hesiod says, or I can be seen as Aphrodite’s son! I am fine with both. But above all, do NOT compare me to Cupid. That’s just some Valentine’s Day baby. Look, sure I have a bow and arrow that makes people fall in love but I’m a god! Not some.. child! It’s annoying when people do that. At least my wife, Psyche, gets me.

I am the goddess of agriculture and the harvest; maintaining all crops, foods, grains, and the fertility of the earth. Though, some others give me more roles; as the goddess of health, birth, and marriage. As the stories say, I do have a daughter named Persephone. I don’t understand why she likes being married to that GUY, Hades! I DON’T KNOW WHY SHE LIKES BEING MARRIED AT ALL! Whenever I get another child, I will make sure to protect them from anything; even marriage. So, back off Aphrodite!

I am the goddess of wisdom, war, and the arts. Well, mostly wisdom. My brother, Ares, is more of the war god than I am. He can sometimes be a pain, since he just loves causing chaos. Wisdom is a great thing, which many mortals need. It’s a powerful source of basically anything. One mortal that had a lot of intelligence was Odysseus; and do I miss him so. Anyways, some gods are saying that I am the favorite child of Zeus; which I do not believe. How would that be possible?

I am Artemis, goddess of many things really; the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, nature, vegetation, childbirth, care of children, and chastity. It is a lot to take control of, yes. My twin brother, Apollo, also takes a lot of roles in his godhood. I take over a large entourage; full of huntresses, female mortals, and nymphs. Men are not a loud, as they need to be away for their wrongdoings. Though, there used to be a man I took favor in. His name is Orion, and he was a like a brother to me.

I am Poseidon; god of the seas, storms, earthquakes, and horses. You may know me for my uh.. many lovers. Like Amphitrite, Khione, Medousa, and Nerites! I have loads more, but that’s for another story. And, I know what you’re thinking. “Oh, Poseidon. You’re such a player and a jerk.”. WELL YOU CAN’T BLAME ME! There’s many astounding people out there, and as they say; there’s plenty of fish in the sea. Also, don’t ask how I birthed a horse. And how I formed another god with the merman, Nerites.
