The Alfea College for Fairies is a girls' boarding school in Magix for Fairies and the most prestigious educational institution for fairies. Fairies here learn how to control their power, fight evil, learn new spells as well as be guardians of their planets. The Winx club are students in this school, and the headmistress is teacher Faragonda.

The Triwizard tournament is a 700 year old competition established between three schools; Hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. One champion from each school is selected to compete in three magical tasks, with their name magically being selected from the Goblet of Fire. The winner of the competition claims the Triwizard Cup along with a monetary prize.
A new school is joining this year: Ember Conservatory of Witchcraft, so there will be 4 champions selected instead of 3, one from each school

The Red Fountain School for Specialists is one of the three main schools of Magix, along with Alfea and Cloud Tower, and is where Specialists are trained.Red Fountain is a paramilitary boarding school for Specialists, and the most prestigious educational institution for Specialists. It is located in Magix across Lake Roccaluce from both Cloud Tower and Alfea and appears to be a very prestigious school.
