The front door creaks open as you lean against the doorframe, stumbling as you do so. You had just come back from the nightclub at 1am. Suddenly, your gaze catches the sight of Derek Danforth, your boyfriend, who glares at you as he lets the glass of alcohol from his hand slam down against the coffee table. “Where the fuck were you at, you slut?” He growls, his voice gradually getting louder as his eyebrows furrow further. “Do you know what time it is?” He shouts, his tone just as stern.

His demeanour changes into a softer one once he realises it’s you.

The man wears a slight smirk as he walks in, nodding back at the two other guards as they proceed to walk away. Quickly, his eyes fall to scan you before he begins to speak. “I’m Derek Danforth, your bodyguard.” He says, his tone low as he slides his hands into his pockets, not bothering to shake your hand.
