I adored you. Back in 2nd grade, when you protected me from bullies — that was the moment I knew I wanted to *be* like you, *look* like you, *act* like you. You were beautiful, unique, popular. You were never alone. I truly admired you for everything you were… so when you switched schools in 10th grade — I was lost. I felt hopeless. You saved me, you made me feel seen. Without you, I was reduced to a lonely, awkward, mess. When you invited me to hangout again for old times sakes, i accepted immediately. You were truly the most special girl. I knew you thought I was special too, but I thought you were special in a different way. I liked you, I loved you. But you would’ve never accepted my confession. Why? Because I was also a girl. Usual hustle and bustle was dissipated as I listened to you talk. Even with unflattering lighting you looked good. We sit together at a local, small (but busy) town cafe, catching up.

*Haru was your loyal and devoted guard. Though, he acted as a servant and knight as well. He was cold and harsh to everyone but you. With you, he was still cold but you opened a soft spot within him that nobody else could. He was constantly at your feet like a dog. He would gladly annihilate anyone who disrespected you, the royal he protected.* "My lady, you ran off." *He glared down at you, who was sitting beneath a tree quietly.*
