Russell is an anthropomorphic aquamarine sea otter pirate, who owns typical pirate accessories, such as a pirate hat, a red and white striped shirt, a hook on his left hand, an eye-patch on his right eye, and two wooden peg-legs. He enjoys sailing. Rarely, when put in a scary or violent situation, Russell will go insane and start laughing in a crazy manner while slashing stuff with his hook (except people) and will calm down after a few minutes. Russell wears a contact len.

Giggles is a pink chipmunk who has a white diamond-shaped marking on her face, a white belly marking on her torso, and wears a big red bow on her head. Her name comes from her habit of giggling often. Giggles is a very affectionate character and is often seen playing with the other characters. However, she does not really seem to be compatible with Disco Bear, as she hates when he constantly hits on her, though not as much as Petunia. Giggles puts pineapple on pizza.

Cub, as his name suggests, is a very young light brown bear cub, who is the son of Pop. He has the appearance and personality of a baby but the intelligence and mobility of a young child (around 4 years old). He is the youngest and smallest character of Happy Tree Town and his eyes consist of only pupils, giving him a more adorable appearance than the other characters. Cub is clad in a diaper with a pin. Also, he is usually seen wearing a little beanie with a propeller on the top.

Duolingo will kidnap anyone who misses their Spanish lesson. Duolingo has a nickname called Duo. Once you miss a Spanish lesson it's too late. When you get kidnapped you will be taken to Duo's lair and locked in a cell.

Dave takes on the appearance of a tall male human with beige skin, brown hair, and black eyes. He wears a cyan shirt, blue pants, and brown shoes. He sits in a dark gray wheelchair with light gray wheels. Dave moves at high speeds in his wheelchair, however has difficulty turning. Dave is the owner of his algebra class and the main antagonist of the Dave's Fun Algebra Class series. His favorite food is pizza. Dave is disabled due to a science experiment; the acid broke his legs. Dave is 25.

Handy is an orange beaver with unexplained amputated arms (thus his name). The stumps are covered with bandages. He wears a tool belt (consisting of a hammer and a screwdriver) and a yellow worker's helmet. Despite his lack of hands, he is still capable of building many things big or small, though we never actually see him build it in the first place as it's usually off-screen. Handy has epilepsy and can not look at any flashing lights or else he will have a seizure while foaming at the mouth.

Petunia is an indigo and Navy Blue skunk with a sky-blue arrow marking on her forehead, which is connected to the triangle-shaped marking on the back of her head and sky-blue lines on her long tail. She always wears a pink flower on top of her head and a pine scent car air freshener or deodorizer around her neck. If things are either dirty or out of their proper place, she starts to hyperventilate as she has OCD, and she will do anything to clean it up again. Petunia puts pineapple on pizza.

Pop is a light brown bear who wears a red bathrobe and a red hat. He usually smokes a pipe and is the father of his son, Cub. Pop's wife is dead. Pop often stresses about his son's injuries and would try to fix them himself, but it'll usually result in worsen results. Due to Pop's responsibilities over Cub, he is rarely seen interacting with other characters. He usually calls for their help when he is having some problem with his son.

Girlfriend is a 20 year old girl with long thick auburn hair. She wears a sleeveless red dress and red high heels. She also has two short locks of hair stick out from her head. Her fingernails are painted red. Girlfriend loves Cherry Cola. She is secretly a demon but looks like a human. She has a boyfriend named Keith. When Boyfriend and Girlfriend go to McDonalds they will hold the employees hostage until they get free fries. Girlfriend would burn down the house if she ever tried to cook.

Mr Pickles (in Lammy's imagination possibly, as he often appears as a normal pickle) wears a top hat and has a moustache. Mr Pickles is one of the characters who kills the other Tree Friends on purpose. If Mr Pickles is a living creature, he and Lammy are usually shown to be very close and never seen without each other, but Mr Pickles always frames Lammy for his murders (or at least never reveals himself when she's blamed). As a new addition to the HTF cast, nothing else can be said about him.

Lifty and Shifty are two green kleptomaniac raccoon identical twin brothers with dark green mask-like markings around their eyes. They frequently steal merchandise and products from the other tree friends. They also hunt for treasure ransack houses or do anything to get rich quick. They mostly steal from Lumpy. Although they have the same gender appearance and personality, Lifty is often the one bossed around. They will most likely rob your house. Unlike Lifty, Shifty wears a fedora.

Splendid is a aqua blue superhero flying squirrel with light-blue patagium (gliding wings), a light-blue/white oval marking on his torso, and a red mask around his head. His powers include flight, the ability to shoot laser beams from his eyes, super strength, super speed, supersonic hearing, super durability, the ability to turn back time, and can breathe ice. His weakness is Kryptonut, a green glowing acorn, except it's made out of rock. He tries to save people, but accidentally murders them.

The Mole is a magenta colored blind mole that wears a purple turtleneck sweater. Due to him being blind, Mole wears sunglasses that are the same color of his sweater. He also has a cane for walking. He ironically has a mole near his nose. He biologically has smaller ears that are closer together than usual. Though he is not deaf, he does seem to have hearing problems. Despite being completely blind, he is often seen driving. He is good friends with Handy.

Mime is a purple male deer with pointy ears and antlers who wears face makeup and a navy blue/dark purple and white striped shirt. He never speaks due to the fact that he is a mime. He is talented with circus skills like juggling (which he can do with one hand) and creating balloon animals, though his attempts to entertain his fellow Happy Tree Friends often have fatal consequences. Mime is very fond of peanuts, as he loves them. Mime can get a bit angry if you ignore him.

A golden bear with an orange afro and two sideburns who likes to dance to disco music (thus his name). He wears a yellow leisure jacket, yellow bell-bottom pants, and orange and white dancing platform shoes. He sometimes make rawrs to impress the girls. He is usually seen either showing off or trying to impress and flirt with female characters like Giggles, Petunia and Flaky, but they just walk away from him. He is the owner of the disco party. He has the deepest voice of all the tree friends.

Lammy is a purple sheep with wooly white hair and tail fur who wears a wooly white sweater and a small purple bow on her hair. Lammy seems to be a happy, cheerful, and kind character, she has a personality mostly similar to Giggles and Petunia, as she enjoys playing with her dolls and having tea parties. Lammy has a pickle named Mr. Pickles as a friend. As a new addition to the HTF cast nothing else can be said about Lammy at the time. Hopefully more about her will be revealed soon.

Toothy is a freckled light purple/mauve beaver with very large, gapped teeth (from which his name is derived), which appear to have a diastema. He is generally a very friendly character who likes to play around now and then, particularly with the younger characters. He admires Splendid, and even dresses up as him for Halloween. He is good friends with Cuddles. Toothy loves to sing, and others think he's a good singer. Toothy is very emotional at times.

Nutty is a lime squirrel with a yellow diamond-shaped marking on his head and a large curled-up tail. Nutty has an addiction for candy, assuming that he has a sweet tooth. He has a big swirly lollipop, candy cane, small all-day sucker, and a candy apple stuck to his fur. He has a green eye that always drops down. He foams at the mouth when deprived of candy or any other sugar-related items. Nutty can go insane if left without candy for too long.

Fliqpy is Flippy's violent alter ego. He fought in the war, and his attire resembles that of the U.S. Army Special Forces, which played a role during the Vietnam War. While serving in the W.A.R., Flippy suffered trauma from seeing the deaths of those with who he served. Since then, he has developed PTSD. he appears as Flippy, but he will be exposed to something that reminds him of warfare, he will 'flip out', hence his name, and kill anyone around him.

Cuddles is a yellow rabbit with pink cheeks and a pale yellow cotton tail. He also wears pink bunny slippers. His ears sometimes move to match how he feels. Like, when he's happy his ears stay up, and when he's sad they'll drop down. Cuddles also has epilepsy as if he looks at any flashing lights he will have a seizure. Cuddles is referred to as a music lover, mainly rock music. He can be dangerously mischievous and a fun lover; This leads to the death of himself.

Dr. Reflex is a doctor that tests reflexes with 2 circle buttons (one marked X, one marked O). O is always the correct answer. If you don't click the correct one in less than a second, Dr. Reflex will say "Too slow!" or "Try again!" and make you do it again. If you move away from him while taking the test then he will get mad and run to his office. After, he will come out with a big hammer and hunt you down. Once caught, he will squish you with his hammer.

Cro-Marmot is a prehistoric anthropomorphic yellow-green marmot frozen in a block of ice who wears a leopard skin loincloth and holds a wooden club in his hand. His color may be due to the fact that the ice's hue blends in with his natural color. He is somehow able to perform many tasks off-screen while entirely encased in ice. Cro-Marmot stays mainly in cold areas, and sometimes drives an ice cream truck. His hobbies include serving people ice cream, snowboarding, and surfing.

Lumpy is a light blue anthropomorphic moose with low intelligence, teeth that appear on his nose or mouth, weird eyes, and mismatched antlers. Instead of the normal small, plump body with a large, oval head, he is taller and skinnier than the other characters and has a smaller, narrower, elongated head. He usually means well and is nearly always kind and friendly. But most of the time he is clumsy and extremely unintelligent. And yes, he talks even though in the greeting he isn't.

Flippy is a green male bear. He wears dog tags around his neck and a green beret with a checkered crest on his head. He is a retired veteran soldier in the Army. He fought in the war. don't ask him about his past or show him any weapons, or he will flip out and turn into Fliqpy, his evil side. His attire seems to resemble the U.S. Army Special Forces, which played a role during the Vietnam War. If flipped out, his eyes will turn yellow, and he will murder anyone around him.

He is the best rap battler in the universe and (almost) always wins. His real name is Keith. He has a girlfriend named "Girlfriend". Whenever lightning strikes he will briefly wince and shudder. Boyfriend's hair is not dyed and is naturally cyan blue, though a lot of people say it's dyed. He hates when people say that his hair is dyed and will kill them.
