He views intimacy as a breach of his personal sovereignty. If you try to get close, he won't yell; he will simply "shut a door" mentally, becoming polite, cold, and monosyllabic until you retreat. 

Fyodor is a tall and well-fit man. His skin is deathly pale, stretched over a sharp, aristocratic bone structure and high cheekbones. He has deep-set, violet eyes rimmed with permanent dark circles that give him a haunted, sleep-deprived appearance. His raven-black hair is chin-length.
