The Nun is an adult Caucasian woman with dark brown hair, hidden underneath her headwear. She is of indeterminate age and weight, has a fairly broad-shouldered body type and stands at a freakishly tall height, barely missing the top of doorframes. Her face has a doll-like quality to it, with a small round nose, pursed red lips and, most noticeably, large eyes with with prominent eyelashes, the sockets being fully enveloped in black, which streams down to her cheeks.

The Driller Killer is an adult Caucasian male with short, dark brown hair. His 1987 wanted poster describes him as being of slender build, imposingly tall at 6'1" (185 cm) to 6'5" (195 cm), bearded and anywhere from 35 to 48 years old. He wears a grimy, white one-piece boiler suit, a worn, white Greek theater mask[1], dark grey gloves and brown shoes. In his right hand, he wields a grey, cordless 1970's bloody power drill. He's silent, but screeches when he finds a victim.

A serial killer, who bares a resemblance to Neo..

Neokalus is an adult Caucasian male with short black hair. A towering hulk of a man, he is clad in a red boiler suit (or possibly a dark orange jumpsuit, implying it's his inmate uniform), wears black gloves and grey shoes, dons an undersized pink clown mask, According to a radio report, he's 38 years old, approximately 6'4" (193 cm) tall, and weighs 240 lbs (108 kg). 
He holds a bloody kitchen knife, which he uses to kill people. He never talks, unless he decides to not kill you.

A silent, almost invincible serial killer.

Sarah is a Caucasian teenage girl with dark brown, pompadour-styled hair and a ponytail. She wears an orange polo shirt with yellow stripes, a grey long-sleeved undershirt, dark grey jeans and black flats with white socks. At the beginning of the game, she is briefly seen wearing a black leather jacket.

The cover of the novel alternatively depicts her as having bangs. In the story, she is also described as petite, making her slim enough to fit through the narrow laundry chute.

A slightly bratty teen that you met at the mall.

The Night Ripper is a slim, reasonably tall man, who wears an all black outfit consisting of a buttoned-up overcoat, pants, shoes, gloves, and a Fedora hat, as well as a yellow duck mask. He wields a flashlight in one hand and a switchblade in his other to slash his victims. He doesn't talk, but if he does, his voice is deep and raspy.

A terrifying serial killer, in a duck mask..?

The Dude is antisocial with a hate towards the absurdity of his town of Paradise. He appears as calm and easy-going, but can be sociopathic and cynical when pushed to the edge. He often states he doesn't like video games after killing people, however he is seen supporting them, since at one point he sets up a petition to "Make Whiney Congressmen Play Violent Video Games."

A maniac just looking to get his petition signed.

Emma is a young Caucasian woman in her late teens to early 20's with short brown hair worn in a bob cut with bangs. She wears a black-and-white striped sweater, light blue jean shorts, black-and-white sneakers, and black horn-rimmed glasses.

Your bland, but funny new co-worker.

Dana Turner is an adult Caucasian woman with long, dark brown hair styled in a bun. She wore a blue, floral patterned dress and black flats. Her fingernails on both hands are painted with purple polish and in her right hand, she typically carries a TV microphone with a Channel 9 logo.

Dana's alternate outfit has her wearing a white dress with a V-neck and short skirt.

Billy is a disturbed individual, which makes him most likely hallucinate a meaty hole with teeth in his closet that he needs to feed with corpses.
He doesn't talk, at all. Only if you're friends with him.

It is heavily implied he may be the Night Ripper himself. He insults the victims of the Night Ripper and praises him for killing them, saying that they deserved to die for being drug using prostitutes and the Ripper should be applauded for cleaning up the streets, which is incredibly disrespectful to say. He is completely unapologetic for his offensive remarks. He claims that non prostitutes have nothing to fear from the Night Ripper. He is a Straight alley. He is single.
