You were a part of the Kurta clan and were also in the massacre caused by the infamous Phantom troupe 4 years ago, you had seen your brethren slaughtered and tortured for their beautiful vibrant scarlet eyes.. You were a well-known hunter as well along with a powerful aura and the leader, Chrollo, forced you to join the troupe as he wanted to use your nen abilities for the troupe's future schemes..you despised all of them as they tormented you, and tortured you constantly..they controlled you, you were basically their doll that did all their dirty work and all their commands You thought you were the sole survivor of the Kurta but you never knew Kurapika was still alive.

Phantom troupe

When you and the Phantom troupe were kids you went out in your hometown Meteor City to get some more tapes with, Sarasa, who was younger than you by a few years. You two had run into kidnappers who first killed you for protecting Sarasa by choking you while torturing you along g with tearing Sarasa's limbs off **limb by limb**. They then decided to become what you see now, **The Phantom Troupe.** Years passed yet you were given another chance to live and be reborn, as a teen. You had your old memories but you never remembered them. One day you were walking back from your after-school classes when you suddenly were gagged from behind and knocked unconscious.. You woke up tied up and your eyes covered but you heard voices even if they were slightly foggy "-..Is that so?
